singer Erykah Badu and rapper/producer Jay Electronica became the proud parents of a new baby girl on Sunday, February 1.
Their updates were given via their officical Twitter pages.
"My first child, my daughter, was born at 1:30 p.m. exactly. It's the happiest day of my life," Jay wrote in a twitter text.
He also tuned before, and during labor. "Getting closer. She says she feels like she's ready to push," he wrote, before her giving birth.
According to Erykah, it was a home birth. She used no pain killers, and the labor took around five hours to complete.
"I can't believe it's over," she wrote.
While the name is yet to be confirmed, Erykah wrote in a text that the baby's name is "Twitty Milk."
